Dr. Pettway (University of South Alabama) delivered an excellent and very well-attended Zoom lecture for LACLS last Wednesday. He briefly presented his recent book publication and delved into more depth on the sonnet “El juramento” (The Oath), by Plácido (Gabriel de la Concepción Valdés).
