LAS 401 (Introduction to Latin American, Caribbean, and Latinx Studies) will meet Tuesdays, 2:00-4:30 and is taught in English by Dr. Sarah Moody.

LAS 401 offers a great overview of Latin American, Caribbean, and Latinx Studies. Its second half focuses on research projects on a topic of interest to each student. This is a great opportunity to develop deeper knowledge of whatever you enjoying studying in the LACLS area.

Q: Do I have to be a LACLS minor to take LAS 401?
A: NO! Bring your friends, too!

Q: Is LAS 401 required for LACLS minors?
A: YES! However, there are some exceptions, based on when a student signed up for the minor.

Q: What else does LAS 401 do?
A: It bears a “W” (writing) designation and meets requirements for other programs on campus, such as a History major.
